Concept: Here, we must first define the terms hour, minute, and second. The link between the hour, minute, and second must then be discussed. As follows:
60 minutes makes one hour.
60 seconds make up a minute.
Now we can use this to determine how many seconds there are in an hour.
As we all know, a clock with three hands on the face displays the time in hours, minutes, and seconds. The minute hand displays the minutes, the second hand displays the seconds, and the hour hand displays the hours.
A clock has twelve distinct divisions. Five tiny divisions are included in each of the large divisions. A minute is given for the little division to stand. There will be a total of 60 divisions, or 12 divisions. We might therefore state that an hour is made up of 60 minutes. As a result, we can say:
