We know that the volume of the cuboid, V=l×b×h

Volume of the box = 56cm×0.4m×0.25m  
We know, 1m=100 cm
Volume of the box=56cm× 0.4×100 cm× 0.25×100 cm Volume of the box=56cm×40cm×25cm Volume of the box=56000c m 3  
Volume of the soap cake is,
Volume of the soap cake=7cm×5cm×2.5cm Volume of the soap cake=87.5c m 3  
The number of soap cakes is given by the formula,
Number of soap cakes = Volumeofbox Volumeofsoapcake  
Number of soap cakes= 56000 87.5 Number of soap cakes=640  
The number of soap cakes that can be placed in a box is 640.
