How much money is required for NEET counselling?

For NEET counselling, the amount of money required depends on the quota and category under which you are applying. If you are applying under the government quota in Tamil Nadu, you will need to pay a registration fee of ₹500 and a security deposit of ₹30,000. For those applying under the management or NRI quota, the registration fee is ₹1,000 and the security deposit is ₹1,00,000. Candidates from special categories such as ex-servicemen or persons with disabilities may have different fees, and those from SC/ST or minority backgrounds with an annual income below ₹2.5 lakh are usually exempt from these charges.
