To download your PAN card (e-PAN) online, follow these official and secure steps via the government portals. The process is fully digital, quick, and works for both newly issued and older PAN cards.

Income Tax e-Filing Portal

Visit the official Income Tax e-Filing website.
Under “Quick Links,” select “Instant e-PAN.”
Click “Continue” under “Check Status/Download PAN.”
Enter your Aadhaar number and click “Continue.”
Verify your identity by entering the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
Click “Download e-PAN” to get your PDF copy.

NSDL Protean (formerly NSDL e-Gov) Portal

Go to the NSDL Protean PAN services portal.
In “Quick Links,” select the option matching your case:
- “Download e-PAN/e-PAN XML (PANs allotted in last 30 days)” or
- “Download e-PAN/e-PAN XML (PANs allotted prior to 30 days)”
Enter your PAN or Acknowledgement number, date of birth, and captcha.
Choose email, mobile, or both to get OTP. Enter the OTP to validate.
After successful validation, click ‘Download PDF’ to download your e-PAN.
