You can link your Aadhaar number with your PAN card online via the Income Tax Department’s e-filing website or SMS service.

Online process:

  1. Visit the Income Tax e-filing portal (incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in).
  2. Under “Link Aadhaar” section enter your PAN, Aadhaar number and name as given in Aadhaar.
  3. Click “Link Aadhaar”. The system will verify details and confirm if linking was successful.

SMS process (India):

Send an SMS from your registered mobile number in this format: 
“AadhaarPANName as in AadhaarYear of Birth” to 567678 or 56161.
