Detailed Solution

Plantation workers took it as freedom, which was the idea Swaraj interpreted. The idea of Swaraj was interpreted differently across the country by different groups. Plantation workers took it as their freedom to visit their native place and the freedom of movement in and out of their plantations and also believed that they would be provided with their land. The middle class of India thought that swaraj meant the spread of education and a little share of their efforts in the administration of this country. Farmers believed that swaraj was the reduction in the land revenues and their rents. Tribals thought it to be a violent way of getting back their traditional rights over the forest, and they could use the forest for cattle rearing, collection of fuelwood and firewood and fruits.
