Hydrogen peroxide can be tested with
1) H₂O₂ reacts with KI to form I₂ which on reaction with starch produces blue colour solution.

2) H₂O₂ on reaction with acidified K₂Cr₂O₇ forms blue peroxide of chromium which is soluble in ether and produces blue colored layer.
