Oxoacids are the acids that contain oxygen atoms in it. Like, HNO3,H2SO4,H3PO4, etc. HCl is not an oxoacid as it does not have oxygen in it.

CaCO3 is formed from H2CO3, which is an oxoacid. MgSO4 is formed from H2SO4, an oxoacid. BaCl2 is formed from HCl, not an oxoacid. Sr(NO3)2 is formed from HNO3, an oxoacid.

Hence, CaCO3, MgSO4, Sr(NO3)2 are oxoacid salts and Ca, Mg and Sr are elements of group II.
