Detailed Solution

The forest in which teak is the most dominant species is Tropical deciduous forests. Moist and dry deciduous woods are subsets of tropical forests based on water availability. The former can be found in regions with 200–100 cm annual rainfall. As a result, these forests are primarily found in the eastern portion of the nation, particularly in the northeastern states, along the Himalayan foothills, in Jharkhand, West Odisha, and Chhattisgarh, as well as on the eastern slopes of the Western Ghats. The primary species in this forest is teak. In regions with annual rainfall ranging from 100 cm to 70 cm, dry deciduous forests can be found. These forests can be found in the plains of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and the more wet areas of the Peninsular plateau. Teak, sal, peepal, and neem are all grown in open areas.
