Detailed Solution

The 'Simon Commission' was boycotted by the Indians because there was no Indian member in the Commission.
The Simon Commission, which comprised seven members, was sent to India by the British Government. This Commission was formed in 1928 with John Simon as the head of the Commission and was named after him. The motivation behind shaping this Commission was to take care of the Indian Constitution framework and introduce vital improvements. But all the memebers of the Commission were British, not including any Indians. Thus, the Simon Commission was opposed by numerous Indians, including Jawahar Lal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, Jinnah, and some more. The dissent against the Commission spread quickly and was greeted with the slogan, 'Simon, Go Back'.
