If two vertices of an equilaterial triangle have integral coordinates, then the third  vertex will have

If none of the coordinates are irrational, then $areaof\Delta =rational$

But the area of equilateral triangle  $=\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}\times {\left(side\right)}^2=irrational$

Hence at least one coordinate is irrational.
