Let x be the piece of work and y be the part of work done by each man per day. Then, the amount of work done by 15 men in single day is

15 × y = 15 y

.
Now, we have

20 × 15 y = x 300 y = x y = x 300

Then, the amount of work done by 25 men in single day is,

25 × y = 25 × x 300 = x 12

Suppose the number of days required for 25 men to finish the work is n, then we get

n × x 12 = x n = 12

Therefore, the number of days required for 25 men to finish the work is 12 days.
