Detailed Solution

Given,
Right triangle area = A
One side containing Right angle = b
The hypotenuse = mAbb4+4A2
We know that area of triangle
A=12×( b )×( h ) Now, suppose that
Another side of the triangle = x
So, area of triangle,
A=12×b×x
x=2Ab
By using the concept of Pythagoras theorem, third or hypotenuse side
=b2+4A2b22         [put the value hypotenuse  =b2+x22]
=b4+4A22b
Length of altitude on the hypotenuse given as,
=m×A×bb4+4A22
Finally, we have with all the value we calculate area of the triangle
A=12 x (hypotenuse) x (length of altitude on hypotenuse)
A=b4+4A22×m×A×bb4+4A22×2b
m=2
Hence the required value of m=2.
Correct option is 1.
