The probability of an event A is given by,

P (A) = Number of favourable outcomes T o t a l number of outcomes

Number of times that a coin tossed, n(S) = 1000.
Let the number of times that tail is obtained be x.
Probability of getting a tail

Probability(getting tail) = Number of tails occured total number of events

⇒ x 1000 = 38 ⇒ 8 x = 3000 ⇒ x = 30008 ∴ x = 375

So, the number of times the heads obtained,

So, the number of times head occurred is 625.
