Correct scientific would be Mangifera indica Linn . As per the rules of ICBN, scientific names must be binomials and the binomial must be written in italics. Generic name or the first epithet must be started with capital letter and the second epithet or species name must be started with small letter. After writing the binomial, the author's name must be written in abbreviated form without in italics.
