$2\mathrm{x}-3\mathrm{y}+6=0$ meets the axes at $\mathrm{A}\left(-3,0\right)$ and $\mathrm{B}\left(0,2\right).$ $\mathrm{kx}+2\mathrm{y}+12=0$ meets the axes at the $\mathrm{D}\left(0,-6\right)$ and $\mathrm{C}\left(-12/\mathrm{k},0\right)$.$\mathrm{OA}\times \mathrm{OC}=\mathrm{OB}\times \mathrm{OD}$

$\Rightarrow 3\times \left(12/\mathrm{k}\right)=2\times 6$

$\Rightarrow \mathrm{k}=-3$
