Detailed Solution

A man adds 6 lit of water to 10 lit of milk so the ratio of water to milk in the first mixture becomes = 6 : 10

The part of the milk in the first type of mixture =106+10=1016=58

Another man adds 4 litres of water so 8 litre of milk

So the ratio of water to milk in the 2nd mixture becomes

  = 4 : 8 i.e, 1 : 2

The part of the milk in the 2nd type of mixture =21+2=23

The ratio of the milk in two mixtures is given by

=58:23528358×32151615:16
