Detailed Solution

Given polynomial,
a2+9x2+13x+6a. The one zero of the given polynomial is reciprocal of other.
Let α be the one zero then 1α be the other.
We know that, in any equation ax2+bx+c=0
Sum of zeroes=-ba and Product of zeroes=ca
Then,
α×1α=6aa2+9 1=6aa2+9 a2+9=6a a2-6a+9=0 a2-3a-3a+9=0 a(a-3)-3(a-3)=0 (a-3)(a-3)=0 a-3=0    or    (a-3)=0 a=3    or    a=3 Hence, option (1) is correct.
