Concept- First, we must identify the necessary parts by formulating an equation using the information provided in the question in order to get the requisite difference between two parts. After that, solve the provided equation to obtain the necessary difference.
Let the ratio be 2x
 and 3x.
According to the question,
⇒2x+3x=60
⇒5x=60
⇒x=12
Therefore the required parts are:
3x=(3×12) =36
And
2x=(2×12) =24
Hence, the required difference between two parts
(3x-2x) =36-24=12
x=12
Hence, the option 2 is correct.
