BC = 15

sinB = \frac{4}{5}

.
Now,

nB = \frac{Perpendicular}{Hypotenuse}

\frac{4}{5} = \frac{AC}{AB}

Then, let

AC = 4 x

and

AB = 5 x

.
Now, according to Pythagoras theorem,

A B^{2} = A C^{2} + B C^{2}

(5 x)^{2} = (4 x)^{2} + 15^{2}

25 x^{2} = 16 x^{2} + 225

9 x^{2} = 225

x = 5

Therefore,

AC = 20

and

AB = 25

\tan ∠ ADC = 1

\frac{AC}{CD} = 1

AC = CD = 20

Now, using Pythagoras theorem,

A D^{2} = A C^{2} + C D^{2}

A D^{2} = 20^{2} + 20^{2}

AD = 20 \sqrt{2}
