Detailed Solution

Equation of ellipse  x24+y21=1
Let contact point of tangent be  (2cosθ,sinθ)
  Equation of tangent is  (cosθ)x+2sinθy=2(i)
Put x = in (i) we get  y=1cosθsinθ=tanθ2
C(2,tanθ2)
Put x=-2 in (i), we get  y=1+cosθsinθ=cotθ2
 B(2,cotθ2)
Since, equation of circle whose ends of diameter are and
 (x1,y1)and(x2,y2)  is(xx1)(xx2)+(yy1)(yy1)0
 (x+2)(x2)+(ycotθ2)(ytanθ2)=0

x24+y2(tanθ2+cotθ2)y+1=0(ii)
So,  (3,0)  satisfying option (ii)
