If the amount of DNA in a meiocyte at G1 is “C”, then each daughter cell formed at the end of meiosis-I contain C/2 content of DNA. This happen because meiosis I is reductional division.

If the amount of DNA in a meiocyte at G1 is “C”, then each daughter cell formed at the end of meiosis II contain “C/2” content of DNA. This happen because meiosis is equational division and one the amount of DNA is halved in meiosis-I it remains the same even after meiosis II.

If the amount of DNA in a meiocyte at G1 is “C”, then cell at metaphase – I contain 2C content of DNA.
