Detailed Solution

If the applied force is equal in magnitude and opposite in direction, then the net force acted upon the body is zero.
The difference between the applied force's magnitude and the force acting on the body can be used to compute net force. In this case, the net force acting on the box is zero because the opposing force is equal in magnitude and cancels each other out. The net force on an object is the total sum of all the pushing and pulling forces which are being acted upon the object. If the pulling and pushing forces on an object are unbalanced (a net force acts), the object will accelerate in the same direction as the net force.
If N number of forces are acting on a body, the net force formula is given by,
FNet = F1+ F2+ F3.+ FN
Where,
F1, F2, F3FN is the force acting on a body.
