Diameter of first circle d=10 cm. So, its radius,
r1=102=5 cm
Diameter of second circle d=24 cm. Thus, its radius
r2=242=12 cm
Therefore addition of areas of both circles,
=πr12+πr22
=π×52+π×122
=25π+144π
=169π
Now this is the area of the larger circle. Thus,
 Area of larger circle =πr2            (r= radius of larger circle)
169π=πr2
πr2=169π
r2=169
r=169
r=13 cm
Thus, larger circle diameter
=13×2
=26 cm
