As per given base of a parallelogram is twice its height,

So let the height of the parallelogram be x.
And so the base will be 2x.
Now put the above values in formula of area,
As A = b.h
A = 2x.x
⇒ 72 = 2x2
⇒ x2 = 36
On taking square root, we get, x = 6cm
On substituting the value of x, we get base as 2 × 6 = 12cm and height as 6cm
Hence, the length of the base and height are 12cm, 6cm.
So, height is 6 cm.
Hence, option 2 is correct.
