The equations of the chord of contact of the tangents to the given hyperbola at (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) are 

   xx1a2yy1b2=1     …(i)

and xx2a2yy2b2=1     …(ii)

   m1m2=1b2x1a2y1×b2x2a2y2=1
