Detailed Solution

F = 4x + 6y

At  (0,2),F=4×0+6×2=12Minimum

At (3,0),F=4×3+6×0=12Minimum

At (6,0),F=4×6+6×0=24

At (6,8),F=4×6+6×8=72Maximum

At (0,5), F=4×0+6×5=30

Since minimum of F occurs at (0, 2) and (3, 0). It means minimum value of F occurs at every point on the line segment joining the points (0, 2) and (3, 0).
