Cost of 140 tennis balls is Rs. 4900.
Let us consider the cost of 2 dozen balls or 24 tennis balls to be Rs. x.
Then,

No. of balls	140	24
Cost of balls (in Rs.)	4900	x

We can clearly observe that, the lesser the number of balls, the less will be the cost.
Therefore, this is the case of direct proportion.
As this is the case of direct proportion, therefore the ratio will remain constant throughout the table that is,

1404900 = 24 x

Cross multiplying,

140 x = 4900 × 24

Simplifying,

x = 4900 × 24 140

x = 35 × 24

x = 840

Hence, the cost of 24 balls is Rs. 840.
Therefore, option 4 is correct.
