If the denominator of a number is 4 less than its numerator. If 6 is added to the numerator it becomes thrice the denominator. Then the fraction is Question Image.
Assuming the numerator of fraction be x.
So, denominator= x-4.
Applying the given conditions,
3(Denominator)=Numerator +6
3(x4)=x+6  
3x12=x+6  
3xx=6+12  
2x=18  
x=9  
Now denominator,
x4=94=5  
Therefore, the fraction is 9 5  .
