Given that the diagonals of a rhombus are 12 cm  and 16 cm  .
Question ImageAs we know that the diagonals bisect each other at right angle in a rhombus.
 AO =  AC 2  AO =  12 2  AO = 6cm Also, BO =  BD 2  BO =  16 2  BO = 8cm  
Now, by applying Pythagoras theorem in ΔAOB  , we get,
A B 2 =A O 2 +B O 2 A B 2 = (6) 2 + (8) 2 A B 2 =36+64 A B 2 =100 AB= 100 AB=10cm.  
In a rhombus, all the four sides are of equal length each.
So, the length of each side of a rhombus is 10cm.
Hence, the correct option is 4.
