The wavelength of the wave is 100 m.
The distance between two consecutive compressions(crest) or rarefaction(trough) is called the wavelength. And the distance between compression(crest) and the next rarefaction(trough) is equal to half the wavelength. We can say that wavelength is twice the distance between compression(crest) and rarefaction(trough). Hence multiply the given value of wavelength by 2, we will get,
2×50=100 m.
