Width (b) of a hall= 12m.
We know that,
Area of the floor

= l × b

Area of flat roof

= l × b

Sum of the area of the floor and flat roof,

= l b + l b = 2 l b

Area of the four walls

= 2 l + b × h

The sum of the areas of the floor and the flat roof = sum of the areas of the four walls.
