Perimeter of a circle (circumference) = 2πr
Perimeter of a square = 4a
Perimeter of circle​=Perimeter of square

AreaofcircleArea of square= πr2a2 π (ra)2 π 2π2  4π2 ×π  4π  Thus, the ratio of area of a circle to that of a square is 4π .
