Given the ratio between the length and perimeter of a rectangular plot is 1:3.
Let the length of the rectangular plot = x.
And the perimeter of the rectangular plot = 3x.
Perimeter = 2(length + breadth)
3x = 2(x + b)
3x = 2x + 2b
x = 2b
The breadth of plot = x 2  .
Ratio of length and breadth is,
= x x 2 =x× 2 x =2:1   The ratio between length and breadth of plot is 2: 1.
Therefore, option 2 is correct.
