Detailed Solution

All the sides of a triangle are given so we can find the area of a triangle using Heron’s formula.

Let the sides of the triangle are a = 56 cm, b= 60 cm, c = 52 cm

Semiperimeter (s) = (56+60+52)2 = 84 cm

Now, by using Heron’s formula

Area of the triangle (A) = [s (s-a) (s-b) (s-c)]  square units

A= [84 (84-56) (84-60) (84-52)]     =[84 (28) (24) (32)]     = 1806336     = 1344 cm2

Thus, the area of the triangle is 1344 cm2
