Given the ratio of sides of the triangles is 3:2:5 its perimeter is 30 cm.
Let the lengths of the sides of the triangle be

3 x, 2 x and 5 x .

By using the formula, perimeter = sum of the length of all the sides, we get,

30 = 3 x + 2 x + 5 x ⇒ 30 = 10 x ⇒ x = 3

Therefore sides are,

3 x = 3 × 3 = 9 2 x = 2 × 3 = 6 5 x = 5 × 3 = 15

Hence, the longest side is 15 cm.
So, option (2) is correct.
