Given quadratic is,
kx2+2x+3k=0.
Also,
Sum of the roots = Product of the roots
We know that,
The standard form of a quadratic equation is ax2+bx+c=0, where a,b  c are real numbers and a0.
And, the sum of the roots is given by ba and product of the roots is given by ca.
After comparing kx2+2x+3k=0 with the standard form, we get,
a=k,b=2, c=3k .
Then,
Sum of the roots = ba=2k.
Product of the roots = ca=3kk=3.
According to the given condition,
-2k=3
-2=3
 k=-23
If the sum of the roots of the equation kx2+2x+3k=0 is equal to their product, then the value of k is -23
Hence, the correct option is 4.
