If we increase the humidity of the medium of the sound, the speed of the sound in that period will also increase.
The sound is produced by the vibrations of the inter particles of the object. Sound waves are mechanical waves which need media for propagation. The closer the particles are, the faster the energy transfer between the particles and the higher will be the speed of sound waves. This is because humidity fills the spacing between the air particles, and the density of the air is increased slightly. So the speed will increase.
