Given: x = 49y = 512, and z = 718

According to the question:

=x - (y + z)

So, substituting the values for x, y and z in the expression x - (y + z), we get:

=-49 - (512 + 718)

Now, 

Taking LCM(12, 18) = 36 to make the denominators of 12 and 18 equal.

Thus, 

512 = 512×33 

         = 1536

And 718 = 718×22 

                 = 1436

 

Now, -49 - (512 + 718)

-49 - (1536 + 1436)

-49 - 2936

-(49 + 2936)

Now, 

Taking LCM(9, 36) = 36 to make the denominators equal.

Then, 

49 = 49×44 

     = 1636

Simplifying the expression further:

-(1636 + 2936)

-(16 + 2936)

-(4536)

-54

Hence, the final solution is -54.
