If $\frac{1}{q}+\frac{2}{p}=7, \frac{2}{q}-\frac{2}{p}=13$, then the value of q is

$\frac{1}{q}+\frac{2}{p}=7$--- (1)

$\frac{2}{q}-\frac{2}{p}=13$ --- (2)

Let $\frac{1}{q}=a and \frac{1}{p}=b$ in eqn (1) & (2)

we get,

eqn (1) as a + 2b = 7 --- (3)

eqn (2) as 2a - 2b = 13 --- (4)

Solving both the equations simultaneously we get a = $\frac{20}{3}$

Since, $\frac{1}{q}=a$

Therefore, $q=\frac{3}{20}$
