$6{\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)}^2+a\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)-4=0$

$6\times \frac{1}{4}+\frac{a}{2}-4=0$

$3+a-8=0$

$a-5=0$

$a=5$

$b{\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)}^2-11\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)+3=0$

$\frac{b}{4}-\frac{11}{2}+3=0$

$b-22+12=0$

$b=10$
