From the property of vector product, we notice that C must be perpendicular to the plane formed by vector A and B. Thus C is perpendicular to both A and B and A+B vector also must lie in the plane formed by vector A and B . Thus C must be perpendicular to A+B but the cross product A×B gives a vector C which cannot be  perpendicular to itself. Thus the last statement is wrong.
