Proof:(1+x)n=C0+C1x+C2x2+.......+Crxr+Cr+1xr+1+Cr+2xr+2+.....+Cnrxnr+........+Cnxn........(1)

 

Also it may be written as 
(x+1)n=C0xn+C1xn1+C2xn2+...+Cnrxr+.....+Cn..........2

Multiplying the expansion (1) and (2) and equating the coefficients of xn+ron both sides, we get 
C0Cr+C1Cr+1+C2Cr+2+.....+CnrCn=(1+x)2n

coefficient xn+rin(1+x)2n

But in (1+x)2n,xn+r occurs in n+r+1thterm

Tn+r+1=2nCn+r=(2n)!(n+r)!(nr)!xn+r

C0Cr+C1Cr+1+C2Cr+2+.......+Cnr.Cn=(2n)!(nr)!(n+r)!

Note 1 : If we put r = 1 in the above result i.e., collect the coefficients of xn+1in the product of the two expansions, we get 

C0C1+C1C2+C2C3+.......+Cn1Cn=(2n)!(nr)!(n+r)!

Note 2  :If we put r = 0 in the above result i.e., collect the coefficients of xn only in the product of the two expansions, we get 

C02+C12+C22+........+Cn2=(2n)!(n!)2
