$$\begin{gathered} \mathrm{f}:\mathrm{R}\to \mathrm{R} \\ \mathrm{g}:\mathrm{R}\to \mathrm{R} \\ \mathrm{f}\left(\mathrm{x}\right)=2\mathrm{x}-3 \\ \mathrm{g}\left(\mathrm{x}\right)={\mathrm{x}}^3+5 \\ \Rightarrow \left(\mathrm{fog}\right)\left(\mathrm{x}\right)=\mathrm{f}\left(\mathrm{g}\right(\mathrm{x}\left)\right)=\mathrm{f}({\mathrm{x}}^3+5)=2({\mathrm{x}}^3+5)-3 \\ =2{\mathrm{x}}^3+7 \end{gathered}$$
Now,     let $$\begin{gathered} \mathrm{let} \mathrm{y}=2{\mathrm{x}}^3+7 \\ 2{\mathrm{x}}^3=\mathrm{y}-7 \\ \mathrm{x}={\left(\frac{\mathrm{y}-7}{2}\right)}^{1/3} \end{gathered}$$
Replacing  x by y, we get
               $$\begin{gathered} \mathrm{y}={\left(\frac{\mathrm{x}-7}{2}\right)}^{1/3} \\ \therefore {\left(\mathrm{fog}\right)}^{-1}\left(\mathrm{x}\right)={\left(\frac{\mathrm{x}-7}{2}\right)}^{1/3} \end{gathered}$$
