If $\sum _{r=0}^{n}f(x+ra)=0$ where $a>0$ then the period of $f\left(x\right)$ is

$f\left(x\right)+f(x+a)+\mathrm{...}+f(x+na)=\mathrm{0....}\left(1\right)$ replace x by $x+a$ we get 

$f(x+a)+f(x+2a)+\mathrm{....}+f(x+(n+1)a)=\mathrm{0...}\left(2\right)-\left(1\right)\Rightarrow f\left(x\right)-f(x+(n+1)a)=0$

$\Rightarrow f(x+(n+1)a)=f\left(x\right)$

$\therefore f\left(x\right)$ is periodic with period $a(n+1)$
