Detailed Solution

x+c×y=a.(i)y+c×x=b(ii)  Taking

cross with c, we have c×y+c×(c×x)=c×b

(ax)+(cx)c(cc)x=c×b

 Also x+c×y=acx+c(c×y)=ca

 or cx+0=ca or cx=ca

ax+(ca)c(c.c)x=c×b

 or x(1+(cc))=b×c+a+(ca)c

or x=b×c+a+(ca)c1+cc Similarly on taking cross

product of Eq. (i), we find y=a×c+b+(cb)c1+cc
