Concept: Through reflection between mirrors that are parallel to one another, the periscope creates an image of an item. We can perceive objects from various altitudes thanks to this kind of light reflection since it creates an image that is orientated in the same direction as the object.
The higher mirror receives the light beams from the source at a 45° angle. This light is reflected from the upper mirror and strikes the lower mirror at the same 45-degree angle. We can view an object at varied elevations at eye level thanks to the image that is created.
