Detailed Solution

In 1586, Akbar conquered Bengal.
Bengal started serving as the capital of a regional kingdom in the ninth century under the Palas. Sultans who were independent of the Kings in Delhi controlled Bengal throughout the 14th and 16th centuries. It was the foundation for the Bengal suba when Akbar conquered Bengal in 1586. Bengali emerged as a regional tongue, while Persian was the official language. The shift in rulers also impacted the regional dialect.
