Given, BC=AB and ∠B=80o.
Question ImageIn △ABC,
∠A+∠B+∠C=180o .... (1) (Angle sum property of a triangle)
So, =AB .
⇒∠A=∠C.......... [Angles opposite to equal sides are equal]
∠B=80o.....(2)
From (1) and (2), we get,
⇒2∠A+80o=180o
⇒2∠A=180o-80o
⇒2∠A=100o ⇒∠A=50o Thus, the value of ∠A=50o.
