In 1527, Babur defeated Rana Sanga, which was another victory for him after the Battle of Panipat. Babur was succeeded to the throne of Mughal Ferghana in 1494 when he was only 12 years old. Then, he seized Kabul in 1504. At Panipat, he defeated the Sultan of Delhi, Ibrahim Lodhi of the Lodhi Dynasty in 1526 and captured Delhi and Agra. In 1527, he defeated Rajput ruler Rana Sanga and his allies at Khanua. And later, he defeated the Rajput at Chanderi in 1528. Babur ruled Delhi for four years from 1526 to 1530.
